Shipping methods, prices and the calculator
The homepage shows the same tiered pricing and shipping calculator as below. This page explains what the three shipping methods mean in practice and how to read the displayed unit prices.
What is included in the unit prices
All values in the chart and calculator are unit prices in euros including shipping and usual ancillary costs. You see a total price per tube for the selected shipping method without having to split out individual logistics items.
100% sea freight
The entire shipment travels by sea freight. This is usually the lowest-cost option, but it takes the longest: typically 8-10 weeks. It is useful when you can plan ahead and want the best unit price.
100% air freight
Everything ships by air freight: short lead time (approx. 2 weeks), with higher costs than sea freight.
20% air freight / 80% sea freight (hybrid)
Part of the order arrives early by air as a first partial delivery, while the rest follows more affordably by sea. This creates a compromise between fast availability for part of the order and a lower average price across the full quantity. For the pricing tiers and calculator this option has a minimum quantity of 2,500 units.
How to use the shipping calculator
- Enter your planned quantity (at least 2,500 for hybrid).
- Choose a shipping method. The chart updates to the matching price curve.
- Read the unit price, total amount and lead time in the result field. The small i hints explain included shipping and each option's advantages.
